Axis Residence is a block of 33-storey serviced apartment that comprises total of 384 units. It is the second phase of the large mixed development named Axis Pandan, which encompasses apartment, condominium, retail shop and business center. It is located in Taman Cempaka, Ampang.

This brand new apartment was built in the earlier 2005, and was completed in April 2009. Each unit is either facing KLCC view or Pandan Indah. Both types are priced from RM160 psf. All units do not have balconies but do have a small enclosed laundry area. The apartment is above about 3 levels of shopping, and about 2 levels of SOHU units. It is a leasehold development developed by Reliable Capacity, which is a subsidiary of RK Group.
Axis Residence is just located off the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). However, while access from Ampang side is easy; access from Pandah Indah involves making a huge, long U-turn on MRR2 itself, after passing Tesco. This is due to the closure of a junction turn under the MRR2. It is a 15-20 minutes drive from KLCC via Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) with little traffic.
The Carrefour Market at Axis Atrium is not a regular-sized Carrefour. It is useful for basic grocery needs and is pork-free and alcohol-free. There are no Chinese / Indian restaurants or bars available in the immediate vicinity. Closest will be Pandan Indah. There is a KFC and Old Town on the Ground Floor, and a smattering of middling cafes serving Malay cuisine, with an almost-empty Egypt Cafe (mains from RM15-RM30). Guess Middle Easterners prefer to cook their own food. Bara 1 Cafe is OK for lounging around since their service is very slow.
